Keeping scrolling and discover ways you can design a beautiful Pastel Easter Tablescape!
For as long as I can remember, Easter has always been a holiday I looked forward to! When I was little, my mom always had special Easter baskets waiting for us Sunday morning that were filled with special gifts and candies. And after church, we would always get together with our extended family for a special Easter Brunch of Easter Dinner. My mom was a fabulous hostess and she always set a beautiful table for special occasions and Easter was no exception! Today, I like to do the same thing for my family and I hope you do too! The pastel colors, opulent florals and small details make the tablescape you’ll see today one worth emulating! Easter Table Decoration Ideas
I always think of pastels when I think of Easter. This is probably because for several years in a row my dad brought home baby chicks that were dyed pastel colors as gifts for my brother and I when we were kids (I’m sure my mom loved that – lol!). Pastels and spring go hand-in-hand, so it’s the perfect color palette for an Easter table! As you plan yours, consider how you can include light pinks, blues, yellows and purples in an effortless combination.
The base of this table is a beautiful shimmery teal tablecloth and the darker color is the perfect backdrop to the lighter florals and tableware. Each place setting is built on a stunning scalloped mirror charger plate, which is topped with a simple white dinner plate and a colorful salad plate. Family and holiday dinners like this are the perfect time to pull out heirloom china! My grandmother’s china, which was passed down to me, has beautiful pink cherry blossoms and will be perfect for a tablescape like this!
I love the additional details of gold silverware, which echo the gold trimmed pastel glassware. Isn’t it just beautiful? While not an exact match, I did find these lovely crystal wine glasses with whimsical pastel lines that I think would be an ideal addition to your table too!
On top of all the plates, guests found a delicate miniature cloche which encased two delicious looking macarons for dessert! Such a simple, yet stunning detail, isn’t it? You can recreate this look with these mini cloche and cake stands or with these glass cloches with a wooden base.
The only thing you might consider adding to this tablescape is a name card so guests know where to sit. Since it is Easter, why not use these delicate pastel eggs as your name cards? They’re playful and elegant, all at the same time!
Let’s also talk about the eye catching centerpiece! You can never go wrong with roses and this lavish arrangement of flowers in white and shades of pink is a splendid addition to this Easter table. The flowers run the full length of the long rectangular tables and on the round tables a large arrangement including lavender roses and small hydrangeas take center stage.
Easter Drink Inspiration
Finally, although not an element for your table design, I couldn’t help but share this fun idea for Easter cocktails! The pastel color of cotton candy is a perfect match for this dinner’s theme, so fill some champagne glasses with this sweet treat and place them on one of your fanciest serving trays to create a focal point at your drink station!
I hope you found plenty of pastel inspiration for your Easter Tablescape! Be sure to Pin this post for later holiday party planning and come back as you design a gorgeous table for your family and friends!
