Paris Themed Party Decoration Ideas
When you’re building your party theme around an iconic city like Paris, the first thing you want to think about are the landmarks you love the most! I don’t know about you, but when I think of Paris, I think about the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe, the Louvre and the Love Lock Bridge (Pont des Arts). While you likely won’t be able to include every element in your design, this is a great starting point as you’re planning.
At Addison’s bat mitzvah, you’ll find the Eiffel Tower incorporated as the “A” in Addison’s name welcoming guests into the party, as well as at each place setting sharing the menu for the evening. And the Love Lock Bridge was turned into an interactive wall where her friends could write down wishes and hopes for the birthday girl on her big day!
I feel like this party also did a great job capturing that Moulin Rouge vibe of Paris with the exquisite balloon installations and carnival games! And this is a really fun way to include the feel of a city, especially for a group of teenagers! Plus, the gigantic carousel horse and ice cream cones made out of balloons are absolutely breathtaking!
Additional elements that added to the sophisticated celebration include the mirrored tables and serving stations, the luxurious pink and blue color palette and linens, the crystal and candles, and the larger than life portraits of the birthday girl.
Bat Mitzvah Food & Drink Inspiration
Guests enjoyed a variety of appetizers like grilled cheese bites, entrees including a sushi bar and desserts like colorful macarons throughout the evening. The teenagers were even treated to some kid-friendly cocktail creations that look out of this world! It’s amazing what a little cotton candy on top of a drink can do, isn’t it?
Parisian Bat Mitzvah Activities & Favors
In addition to the variety of carnival games guests were able to enjoy, the gigantic dance floor under an absolutely stunning balloon installation complete with luxurious fabric ribbons provided the perfect spot for dancing with friends into the night!
And at the end of the evening, no one went home empty handed! Addison’s initials were turned into a heart shaped logo and added to everything from bags and caps to hoodies! And playing on her AP initials, shoes and were adorned with cute sayings like “Always Party” and “Always Poppin” and placed on shoes and popcorn bags.
Additional party favors were boxes of croissants, rose lemonade, candies and other small treats, beautifully wrapped up in branded favor boxes.
It’s hard for me to choose a favorite element from this party; what’s yours? Hopefully this lovely Paris Themed Bat Mitzvah has given you several ideas for creating a Parisian celebration of your own! Be sure to Pin this post to your Party Planning board before you go!
