One of the best ways to celebrate a special occasion like a milestone birthday is with a small intimate gathering of your dearest friends. And that’s just what Astrid did to celebrate her Fabulous 50th Birthday! Join me as we take a look at the simple and stunning spring table setting she and her girlfriends enjoyed for this special occasion dinner party.
For Astrid’s Spring Themed 50th Birthday Dinner Party, her friends wanted to celebrate her with an elegant evening in gorgeous Palm Beach! Hosted outdoors, the special milestone birthday pulled in the lovely and bright colors of spring. If you’re hosting a dinner party, garden party or shower or throwing a special birthday celebration yourself, you’ll find plenty of inspiration to pull from the seasonal decor at this party. Take a look…
Astrid’s spring tablescape featured a color palette of purple, white and green. Guests found their seats by locating their custom name card featuring wildflowers set on top of a purple linen napkin, topped with a stunning purple orchid.
Although not a perfect match, we do love this wildflower place card by Primrose Paper Studio (plus you can get matching invitations to keep your party effortlessly coordinated).
The place setting featured classy gold cutlery which really brought out the golds in the orchid, don’t you think? The antique purple jewel-toned water glasses tied the purple color scheme together as well.
Although simple, the centerpieces worked well together and made a lovely statement at this celebratory dinner party. A combination of purple flowers, potted herbs for greenery and candles in hurricane vases created the perfect vibe for the event.
A great idea for party favors at an intimate celebration like this would be potted flowers or herbs for each guest to take home. You could use them as part of your centerpiece during the event and then each guest picks their favorite to take with them when they leave.
And finally, what’s a birthday party without cake?! This show stopping two-tiered cake designed by Sweet Stacey’s Palm Beach pulls in the orchids and flowers of spring perfectly! I love the gold flakes and tall gold candles too!
This elegant spring tablescape is proof that a simple design, focused on the colors and florals of the season, goes a long way in creating an intimate setting worthy of celebration! Leave me a comment and let me know your favorite element from the table!
