Whether you’re hosting a special event, entertaining some close friends for a dinner party, or throwing a big Halloween party, you’re sure to find inspiration for your table and decor right here!
Jack and Sally Place Settings
Planned and styled by photographer Lauren Adams of Bokeh Love Photography, this Nightmare Before Christmas inspired tablesetting focused on a color palette of black, white, orange and deep, dark purples. Each place setting was grounded on an orange and black striped round placemat and featured a gold pleated charger topped with a white dinner plate. Black linen napkins wrapped in a web-like silver napkin ring held down the custom menus, also designed by Lauren. I also adore the vintage-style deep plum water goblets that were chosen for glassware too!
I didn’t find these exact napkin rings, but I did find a similar one here as well as these Black Spider Napkin Rings that would be perfect for a Halloween party!
Jack and Sally Centerpieces
This table features a simple, yet stunning centerpiece you can easily recreate at home! The black candelabra screams Halloween with the simple white tapered candles. You’ll notice the table also was lined with black votives in clear candleholders which is a fabulous way to add more ambiance to your dinner table.
Alternatively, if you prefer flowers for your centerpiece, the arrangement Karen Fowler McCarraher of Karen Fowler Floral Design put together is eerily haunting! The two shades of purple roses mixed with the white roses look unbelievably beautiful. And how amazing is the addition of the jeweled spider in the middle of the bouquet?
Jack and Sally Decor Ideas
This Halloween tablescape also featured some other noteworthy elements because as you know, entertaining and decorating is all about the details! They really do make a big difference. Lauren used Jack and Sally coffee mugs as part of the table decorations, which really helped bring her theme to life. If you’re hosting a small party, these would make fun party favors too!
Finally, a Halloween Party is the perfect time to get creative with a DIY Project and glam up your pumpkins! These small pumpkins, painted with glossy black and white stripes and topped up with a bow are real standouts on the table! Don’t forget to paint the stems of your pumpkins too – it makes a big difference! The stems here are black which is perfect, but you can also do metallic gold or silver for a fun effect!
