Big celebrations call for champagne, and there’s no bigger reason to throw a party than an engagement! With a wedding on the way, Lexi and Paul wanted to take time to remember this important moment and honor their wedding party in a chic and fabulous way! Take a peek inside this intimate and stylish engagement party for ideas on how to celebrate your next milestone!
Engagement Party Ideas
The newly engaged couple hosted their engagement shower in a friend’s swanky downtown condo, which perfectly set the stage for their chic celebration. With gorgeous views of the city and plenty of champagne to drink, guests knew they were in for fabulous gathering as soon as they arrived.
The silver Congrats balloon banner served as the main photo backdrop, where the wedding party loved taking pictures! You can see the gorgeous Bride-to-Be, Lexi, below with all of the lovely ladies in her wedding party.
And photo props are always fun, no matter the occasion or age of your guests! Even the Groom-to-Be and his friend got into the spirit with a few of the props. We like this set of photo props which could be used at the wedding too.
The couple kept decor simple for their party, opting instead to highlight the stunning views and focus on spending time with their friends and loved ones. We do like this sweet chalkboard countdown sign, reminding everyone of the reason for the party!
You can see the back of the gorgeous metallic gold cake above, but how stunning is the front?! This beauty with gold leaves and soft blush roses, designed by La Casa Dolce Bakery, was a showstopper!
Since the main focus of this engagement party was champagne, the couple needed special glasses to toast with, right? We found a similar pair of heart champagne glasses here and we also love these pavé jeweled champagne glasses that can be personalized and engraved. They’re not only gorgeous, but they’d make a perfect keepsake.
With lots of champagne following, the couple gave toasts and then treated their guests to a special video about their love story and how each one of their friends has been an important part of their lives. They also had each guest sign a special edition Armand de Brignac Ace of Spades Brut Gold Champagne bottle that they’ll save and open on a special anniversary.
And since you can’t have a party without favors, each guest went home with their very own bottle of champagne decked out with a metallic gold “hooray” thank you card.
We hope you gathered some inspiration from this simple, yet chic champagne celebration for your next party or gathering!
