Tea Party Bridal Shower Invitations
When planning a party, I always start with the invitation and build from there. You’ll want the invitation to capture the mood, feeling and colors for your bridal shower. My favorite place to shop for custom party invitations is Etsy and here are a few of my favorites for a Bridal Shower Tea Party…
The burgundy and pink florals in this custom invitation by Little Rose Studio are absolutely beautiful and perfect for a fall shower!
How adorable is this tea pot cutout invitation with tea cup RSVP card by NJH Boutique?!
And this classic looking watercolor inspired tea pot bridal shower invitation by Oak House is sure to be a winner with guests!
Bridal Shower Tea Party Table Settings
Next, you’ll want to start thinking about your decor and table settings. Like the bridal shower pictured, if the weather will be good, why not host your party outdoors?! Perhaps your backyard or a local event venue would be an ideal place to gather?
I love the classic, simple look captured at this party. They kept the tablecloth a bright white and added color with the soft floral centerpieces, the gold silverware, a pink salad plate and the mismatched tea cups and saucers.
I personally love the look created with mismatched tea cups and if you don’t have some of your own, you can rent them or order a gorgeous set in bright colors from All Little Cute Things.
Tea Party Food, Drinks & Dessert Ideas
One of my favorite things about a tea party is the food! It’s delicate and decadent all at the same time! Your guests can enjoy things like a variety of tea sandwiches, fresh salads and of course lots of cookies, scones, macarons and other bite sized desserts!
Serve the food on a variety of cake stands and beautiful tiered serving trays. You can set these out on the tables or set up a central dessert table like they did here…
And what else do you serve to drink at a bridal shower other than champagne? I love the presentation of the drinks in these stemless champagne flutes all together on a cake stand. The addition of the strawberries and mint to each glass is lovely too.
Bridal Shower Party Favors
Finally, don’t forget about party favors! It’s always nice to leave your guests with a parting thank you gift and there are so many great options for a tea party themed celebration! You can place a wrapped package of cookies at each place setting with a custom thank you tag like they did here.
Or why not have some custom tea bags made for your guests like these from Party Sprinkles Co?
These tea pot shaped favor boxes are amazing too! You could fill the boxes with candies, tea bags, scented soaps, a candle or even cookies!
A tea party is an elegant affair and a perfect theme for a bridal shower! I hope you found some inspiration for your next event in these pictures and party ideas! Be sure to Pin this post to your Bridal Shower board for later party planning!
