At a recent girl’s night out, friends who had all been pregnant at the same time realized they were all planning birthday parties for their littles within weeks of each other. The light bulb went off and instead of four different parties, why not throw a single party with quadruple the fun?! Great idea gals! We have all the adorable pictures from this primary colored Ultimate Pool Party Birthday for four besties turning two! Keep scrolling to see all the backyard, summertime fun!

The Ultimate 2-Year Old Pool Party
Anderson, Harris, Jane and Knox’s moms were all pregnant at the same time and delivered their new bundles of joy within two weeks of each other! So when their second birthday was approaching these smart mamas knew a joint birthday party would the perfect way to celebrate with family and friends!
The ladies tied all the decor, food and activities together perfectly with a primary color palette, pool inspired decor and summer fun that two year olds adore! Take a look…

Pool Party Decor Ideas
There are so many different themes you can go with for a pool party… tropical palm leaves, pineapples, flamingos, or go nautical like they did here! We love the custom party banners (seen above) designed by Kit + Cannon featuring the lifesaver for the “o” in “two” and the adorable sunglasses banner mixed with the others. Layering a variety of party banners creates a fun and festive feel!

The main party table highlights the primary colors used at the party with the balloons and serving containers. And the gigantic “2” balloon is perfect, reminding everyone of the celebration at hand!

Custom napkins and cups are always a special way to celebrate important days and give your party a high-end feel! How cute are these napkins and cups, created by Paper Twist, with the friends names on them?

Pool Party Food Ideas
When you’re hosting a backyard party, especially a pool party, you want the food to be easy and low maintenance. This also holds true at a two year olds birthday party! That’s why choosing chicken nuggets and cornbread muffins is an ideal solution! And how cute are the sunglasses toothpicks in the muffins?! You can find a similar set right here for your next pool party too!

Don’t forget about your adult guests at a children’s birthday party! This bucket of iced down beer is the perfect way to keep everyone happy and cool on a hot day!

2nd Birthday Cakes
When there are four littles turning two, you have to have four cakes, right?! I just adore these matching smash cakes, designed by Edible Art Cake Shop, for each child with 2 tall candles. Absolute perfection!

Edible Art Cake Shop also made these darling cupcakes topped with primary colored lifesavers to stick with the nautical theme of the pool party. I’m sure guests loved these playful sweet treats!

Pool Party Fun
You honestly don’t need much more than the water to keep kids happy and entertained at a pool party during the summer! Throw a few fun floats or diving rings into the pool and you’re all set!

These two year olds were treated to a Gigantic Elephant Sprinkler (which also comes as a unicorn, or a dinosaur) to make their day even more amazing! And I’m sure the mist from the sprinkler helped keep the adults cool too!

Finally, what better party favor for a summer kid’s birthday than bubble wands?! The rainbow ribbon tied to the end really makes the colors pop and you could add a lifesaver shaped thank you tag if you wanted too.

I think it’s safe to say this pool party will be remembered by all four moms and dads for years to come! And when these little ones turn 18, they’ll have some great pictures to look back at with their friends! Be sure to pin this post for later birthday pool party planning!
