Spring Garden Party Ideas
When I think about spring parties, my mind immediately conjures up gorgeous flowers and clean, bright colors. I think that’s why I fell in love with this Enchanted Spring Garden Party… its opulent florals and whimsical desserts just sing spring! Mom and Cake Designer Kristine of Table & Co., dreamed up this stunning dessert table for her daughter Maya’s First Birthday, but I think this look and feel would work for any spring get together you’re planning.
One of the things that first catches your eye is the cake swing – a fun, whimsical feature, perfect for a garden party! It really brings that outdoor garden feel inside, doesn’t it? This is something you could DIY yourself if you’re crafty, or consider this acrylic cake swing from Acrylic USA Made if you prefer something done for you!
The cake, designed by Table and Co., is decorated with delicate hand-painted flowers is shades of soft pink. The details are simply stunning.
While the cake may have been the magnificent centerpiece, the other desserts on the garden party table didn’t disappoint! From cupcakes to donuts to meringues and brownies, this was a visual feast for the eyes… and stomach!
There is no better time than a spring garden party to make use of edible flowers! On this dessert table, edible flowers were added as decorations to the white chocolate covered brownies pictured below and to dress up the donuts!
Wondering where you can get fresh edible flowers to add to desserts at your party? Try GourmetSwtBotanicals on Etsy! They have a wonderful variety and ship fresh flowers from their garden to your door!
Another great use of edible flowers is to drop a few into ice cube molds and create floral ice cubes for cocktails or punch! A gorgeous and simple detail for a garden party!
How beautiful are these pink and purple pyramids dusted with edible gold leaf?! This beautiful dessert is a chocolate-covered Oreo!
And if those desserts, weren’t quite enough for the guests, Table and Co. also created an exquisite meringue and donut tower for each side of the cake as well as two mini cakes, topped in florals and placed under a glass cloche.
Spring Garden Party Florals
A garden party, whether held indoors or outdoors, is all about the flowers and this party is no exception! From the sugar flowers on the cake to the edible flowers on the desserts, the decor was clearly all about spring’s bounty. We love the use of real flowers on the mini cakes too – it’s always an easy and beautiful way to dress up a cake!
Floral Designer Bootah Jardin Wedding Flowers did an amazing job bringing the season to life with the bouquets and floral swag surrounding the dessert table. A little greenery really goes a long way!
Finally, to customize this dessert table for her daughter’s birthday, Kristine added Maya’s name, decorated in flowers just under the hanging cake along with a vintage inspired number one to the cake swing. These beautiful touches, designed by Junebug Designs, helped complete the First Birthday look in a way that added to the decor.
We hope this enchanted garden party dessert table was full of inspiration for your next party! Be sure to Pin this post for later party planning!
