Watermelon Moscato Slushie Recipe
During the summer, I’m all about easy! Seriously, it’s way too hot down in Texas to do anything but simple, which is why I adore this recipe! There are only three ingredients and you can whip it together in a breeze.

All you need is 3 cups of watermelon (be sure to get a seedless watermelon or be careful to pick out the seeds), about 3 cups of ice and 1.5 cups of Moscato. If you aren’t familiar with Moscato wine, it’s a sweet, light-bodied white wine, with both fruity and floral notes, made from the Muscat grape. It has a lower alcohol content that other wines, so your guests will enjoy the cocktail, but not end up way too tipsy!

Once you’ve gathered your ingredients, place them all in your blender (I use our Ninja Blender which always does an amazing job) and blend to your desired consistency. Because watermelon has such a high water content, you may need to add additional ice to get to your desired “slushie” frozen state.
Once you’ve blended, you can pour it into a beautiful serving pitcher or directly into your cup! I think this ceramic Watermelon Pitcher would be the ideal serving vessel! Garnish your cups with a small slice of watermelon too for some extra pizzazz!

Yum!! My mouth is watering just looking at those! I think I need to make a pitcher and head to the pool! You could also take this basic recipe and jazz it up by blending in strawberries, blueberries, kiwi or another favorite summer fruit. And if you don’t have any Moscato on hand, try vodka instead!

I hope you’ll give this simple summer cocktail recipe a try at your next gathering with friends and family! Be sure to Pin this post for later party planning too! Enjoy!
