Kim and Diane of Pink Pumpkin Events had a blast transforming the Copper Sky Clubhouse in West Kelowna, BC into a sophisticated safari for the mom-to-be and her guests to celebrate the arrival of her new baby! A safari or jungle-themed baby shower can be taken a few different ways… with childlike zoo animals and toys or, when dipped in gold, the safari theme becomes a grown-up affair and we just adore this design choice!

Gold Safari Decoration Ideas

I love all the animal patterns and different textures you can use for a safari themed celebration! The stage was set for the baby shower theme at the party’s entrance, which welcomed guests with a zebra rug and a safari themed toy chest. You’ll notice throughout the decor that they pulled in a lot of tropical plants and leaves to make the room feel more like a jungle.

Kim and Diane even sewed custom animal print pillows to soften the leather couches and make sure the theme touched every element of the party! By far, the highlight of the shower was the gold safari animals scattered throughout the room, designed by Wedding in a Box. Little families of animals on beds of soft green moss wrapped in animal print ribbons decorated the coffee tables, side tables and pillars in the space as well.

The use of the safari hats in some of the decor vignettes is such a cute idea too, don’t you think? And I absolutely love how they used the safari hats with the tropical green leaves on the back of the chairs at the dining table – so fun!

Gold Safari Centerpiece Ideas

The dining table featured a custom animal print table runner (we like this leopard print one too) topped with tropical leaves, grasses, glass vases of different sizes and shapes and more gold jungle animals!

Gold Safari Party Favors

Finally, one of the cutest party details were these adorable gold animal topped party favors! The mini jars were filled with M&Ms, but you could fill them with your favorite candy or other treat as well.
