We’re coming down to the wire in our little town when it comes to getting a date for our Homecoming Dance. So I thought it would be fun to round up some cute and creative ways on How to Ask a Date to Prom, which also can include a date or dance in general.
I hope these ideas will help out any guys (or girls) who need a little inspiration (or kick in the butt!). 😀
5 Ways to Ask a Date to Prom (Or Dance, Date)
1. Balloons – Balloons seem to be a very popular way to ask someone to prom. You can go over the top and fill their entire room with balloons (obviously you need some connections here – like knowing their parents. Please don’t climb through their window. Can you spell CREEPY?) You can tie a balloon to your dog. Why not? Or you can spell out PROM with balloons on the front of your house or theirs. Or heck, just hand them a bouquet or balloons and ask them to prom.
(The point here is to ASK them.)
2. Disney’s PROM Movie
Do you have access to a stage and some giant letters? This idea is from Disney’s PROM movie, which ended up being surprisingly popular. The girl said yes. I think. It could work for you.
3. Go the cheesy route with PIZZA
Does she or he like pizza? If yes, this might just be a winner. And hey, a Little Caesar’s pizza on some nights is like $5. Now we’re talking. Then they say yes. You eat pizza together (bring some water or something to drink) and you live happily ever after….well, you know.
Okay, so that’s what these were called back in my day. You might want to change the name because then she’ll be like “You have what? Cooties?” Anyway, it’s a cute idea that requires a piece of paper. Tell her the numbers to choose. Just google “How to make a cootie catcher”. I found this idea here, along with 127 others. No really, there are 127 other ideas.
This is one of my favorites if we’re going for last minute ideas. It’s creative. It obviously took the person who put it together some time and thought. It’s something that can be a keepsake and it’s a little unexpected. Very cute.

To ASK.
