When Kaleb turned one, his parents threw him an Oscar-worthy celebration with a Mr. ONEderful theme. The reds, blacks and golds in the decor details make me think of an award show after party or a fancy movie premier. It definitely has a show business feel and it’s so much fun! Let’s take a look at this beautifully coordinated Mr. ONEderful theme that was created for the party guests…
Mr. ONEderful Party Decorations
In addition to the colors of red, black and gold, a key theme carried through all the decor and dessert details were bow ties, red suspenders and mustaches – perfect elements for celebrating your little man! Let’s talk about the guest tables first, because wow, were they stunning!
The giant “K” for Kaleb in the center of the party table is an amazing detail! Covered in gold glitter paint, wearing a top hat and bow tie with mustache, this Mr. ONEderful centerpiece is truly one of a kind!
No detail was spared as you can see each white chair had a black top hat draped over the back for guests to dress up with during the party. Additionally, each place setting featured red and black plates, a favor box, a paper straw with a mustache and a black and white mustache napkin.
Guests were also able to capture special memories in front of the coordinated photo booth. The red carpet lined space featured a huge balloon garland and Mr. ONEderful personalized photo backdrop with a gold bow tie and mustache.
Mr ONEderful Dessert Table Ideas
The dessert table was an incredible show stopper at this 1st Birthday Party! The eye catching backdrop featured a giant gold bow tie and red suspenders and the desserts were placed upon a table covered in a black and white striped tablecloth with Kaleb’s name. And how about that tiny black throne for the birthday boy?! It’s so cute and I’m sure the pictures of him sitting there turned out amazingly!
In the center of the table in front of the cake, there was a specially decorated “ONE” with a top hat, red bow tie and mustache placed in the center with desserts all around. This is such a great decor detail for a first birthday party!
And let’s talk about the beautiful cake designed by Cutie Pies & Cakery… topped with a red glitter Mr. ONEderful cake topper and gold bow tie, this two layer cake with red suspenders was perfectly matched to the party theme!
Featuring little man custom cookies, mustache topped cookie stacks, custom cupcakes and personalized Rice Krispie Treats, guests had a variety of delicious desserts to choose from at the party. These ice cream cone cupcakes decorated with an edible gold bow look unbelievable, don’t they? I love the deep red ice cream cone color too!
First Birthday Party Favors
Guests enjoyed several different party favors, all of which will inspire your own parting gift. I think the Candy Apple Favors are my favorite! So incredible! Dressed in a gold bow tie and with a mustache paper straw to hold onto, these make amazing party favors!
