Planning a party should be fun, not stressful. One way to make sure it’s enjoyable is to simplify it and keep yourself organized. Staying organized will insure you do the right things when they need to be done. Have you ever sent invitations out way too late, only to find out half the party guests already have something planned that date? Yep. Not a good feeling.
Party planners are good at what they do because one, they enjoy it and two, they plan! (Side note: The Wedding Planner is one of my all time favorite movies. “Those who can’t wed, plan!”) The great thing about planning a party and coming up with a checklist is you don’t have to re-create it yourself. Here are a few fabulous Party Planning Checklists sources:
A Party Planning Checklist from Real Simple
A Party Planning Checklist from HGTV
Party Planning Checklists for several different occasions from Martha Stewart
By being prepared and organized, you just might enjoy the party you’re hosting too! 😉

Thanks for the checklist links. I love checklists.
