Instructions
Mint Chocolate Chip Donuts
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and spray a 6 cavity donut pan with baking spray.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt; whisk until combined.
  3. In another large bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, butter, mint extract and green food coloring until combined.
  4. Slowly add the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, stirring until combined.
  5. Fold the mini chocolate chips into the batter.
  6. Transfer your green donut batter into a piping bag to easily fill the donut cavities in your baking tray. Otherwise, carefully spoon the batter into the tray.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until slightly golden brown.
  8. Remove the donuts from the oven, allowing them to cool for 5 minutes before transferring them from the pan to a wire cooling rack.
Chocolate Ganache Glaze
  1. Using a small pot, heat the heavy whipping cream until steaming.
  2. Meanwhile, place the chocolate chips in a heat-proof bowl and once the whipping cream is hot, pour it over the chocolate chips.
  3. Let the mixture sit for about one minute and then whisk it until smooth.
  4. Pour the warm glaze over the donuts and allow the ganache to set for 3 minutes.
  5. Sprinkle the mini chocolate chips on top and let the ganache completely set. Serve and enjoy!
